Before You Begin

Apply leather care products only to smooth leather surfaces. Treat roughout sparingly, as it absorbs significantly more oil.

Avoid split and nubuck areas. Use only as much product as necessary.

Lighter saddles may darken naturally over time. Proper use, storage, and care are required to maintain warranty coverage.

Leather is a natural material and responds to environmental conditions.

Store your saddle on an appropriate saddle stand in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. For best results, keep it separate from the barn environment to protect it from moisture and temperature fluctuations.

Clean smooth leather regularly with a damp sponge and a compatible saddle soap to remove dirt and perspiration.

Nubuck and split leather should be cleaned with a crepe or nubuck brush, or a nubuck leather eraser.

To preserve the substance and quality of vegetable-tanned leather, apply a thin layer of leather conditioner to smooth leather surfaces after cleaning, as needed.

Warranty & Care

Warranty coverage is contingent upon proper use, storage, and maintenance of your saddle. Failure to follow recommended care guidelines may affect warranty eligibility.

Because vegetable-tanned leather is a natural material, consistent cleaning, conditioning, and correct storage are essential to preserving performance and longevity.
