Please list item name, number, quantity, color options, hardware options, leather options and whatever else is important to ensuring you will receive exactly what you are wanting to order. If you are unsure, please ask us. We'd love to help you find the perfect item! Please also be sure to include your full name, phone number and ship to address in your order. 

In order to find a great fitting saddle for you and your horse, we have decided not to make our saddles available per online order via the website. We value our customers and love all horses, and want to be sure it will be the right fit.

In Stock or Special Order:

In stock items vary, as we do keep a great amount of on hand products, it does happen that somebody has just recently purchased that item you are wanting to order. It will take us approx. 2-3 months to re-stock it, but we gladly take your order and have it shipped right out to you once it's back in stock, that way your item is guaranteed to be your's. Great quality takes time to produce, and our products are certainly worth waiting for. Upon reaching out to us, we can also let you know, if we have a similar product in stock.

Special orders are custom orders of tack and / or saddles, that are built to your preferences. Special orders can not be returned, they are uniquely your's in size and design, and won't be easy for us to sell to another customer. Only in stock items can be returned within 14 days. Shipping costs are non-refundable.


Demonstration saddles:

We do not keep demonstration saddles on hand, that can be shipped out to ride in. We have too many models, sizes and variations so this is simply not possible for us. We work with you to find out which saddle will work best for you, and after this was carefully analyzed, we ship the saddle to you you ultimately would like to purchase. We require full payment of Retail value before any items are leaving our shop. Please return the saddle within 14 days after you have received the saddle if you're not pleased with it. You may ask for a refund or exchange within 14 days. There is no restocking fee assessed, and shipping costs are non-refundable. You may opt to keep the saddle if you happen to like this particular model and it turns out to be a great fit for your horse. You do not have to ship it back to us, if you intend to keep the saddle. If we do have a previously ridden in model in stock (which does happen occassionally, but when we do, they go really fast!) you can opt to purchase it at a reduced price. Full payment is required prior to ship. You will be reimbursed for the full payment minus the shipping costs if you return the saddle to us in a very good condition, so please be sure to take great care of it. Treat it like you would want us to treat your $4,000 saddle. We do reserve the right to charge a depriciation value in case the saddle is returned with scuff marks, scratches or damaged in any other way, which then will be deducted from your total refund. A refund is granted after we have received the saddle and had a chance to view it for possible damages. Dirty tack and saddles are subject to a cleaning fee of $25 per tack item and $75 per saddle. Please return it clean and free of hair. We also ask that you reuse the shipping box and bubble wrap we have shipped it in and take great care while preparing the items for shipment. Refunds may take up to 3-5 business days to process. Your bank may also need a few more business days to process the receipt of our refund.

Clearance saddles and tack:

Any item marked as clearance is a final sale and cannot be returned.

Order Confirmation:

Once we have confirmed your order, your products will be shipped out to you within approx. 2-3 business days. You will receive a shipping notification. If we haven't confirmed your order, it's most likely due to us being at a horse show or event. We will respond to your request immediately upon our return and appreciate your patience. You are a valuable customer to us, and we look forward to helping you find that perfect saddle or tack item.


Change of mind returns
DP Saddlery LP accepts change of mind returns within 14 days on all in-stock merchandise, excluded are all special order items and items that have been reduced in price, such as demonstration saddles and clearance and used saddles. All reduced merchandise is a final sale. Saddles and tack have to be returned in like-new condition, clean, free of dirt and hair. DP Saddlery LP reserves the right to charge a cleaning fee of $75 for saddles and $25 for tack in case the products are soiled. Shall the returned products be returned damaged or in a unmerchantable fashion, DP Saddlery LP reserves the right to retain all or a portion of your payment as it sees appropriate (depreciation value), when products are returned damaged/defective and evaluation of returned merchandise. A prior quote cannot be given. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Other Returns
DP Saddlery will accept product returns and provide you with an exchange or refund where: 

  • The product is faulty or is not of merchantable quality, or
  • The product is not fit for its intended purpose, or
  • If the product is determined to be faulty, not of merchantable quality, DP Saddlery will offer a repair, store credit or refund. 

    (The determination whether or not a product is faulty, is solely up to DP Saddlery LP)

If you cannot present your DP Saddlery LP online invoice or other acceptable proof of purchase, DP Saddlery reserves the right not to offer a repair, refund or exchange. DP Saddlery LP reserves the right to determine what to offer to make up for a faulty product. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

 Shipping  Costs:

Shipping costs vary, depending on the style of saddle you are ordering and your location. If you would like to know your shipping costs ahead of time, please send an Email request to and provide us with your complete mail-to address, which saddle you are interested in, and we will send you a quote. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Payment options: 

We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, checks and cash. When paying with a check, please understand that your items won't ship out until your check has cleared. If you're not registered with PayPal, PayPal will put a temporary hold on your payment, that usually clears within 24 hours. You can still use PayPal. In any case, please discuss your options with us personally. We enjoy personal customer service and value our customer satisfaction.

Payment plans (layaway):

Payment plans are available at 0% interest. Automatic billing is set up via a contract and your credit/debit card will be charged accordingly. There is a one time fee of $50 to begin your payment plan that is non-refundable. We will work within your budget to create a monthly payment you can afford. A 25% down-payment is required to start your payment plan. You can also opt to send us a check once per month or pay cash, whichever you prefer. Your merchandise will be held for you and you only until payment is complete. We do not ship out items that aren't fully paid. 


Sales taxes apply in the following states: Alabama, Florida, Ohio, Massachusetts as well as at tradeshows.
